Lisa Mirabile

President & CEO

Lisa Mirabile holds a BFA in Fine Arts from Syracuse University. Her career began at Wunderman Cato Johnson NYC, where she spent 2 years working on American Express and Miller Genuine Draft. With her passion for adventure, Lisa’s career took a turn for the best when she was tapped by Wunderman to help launch the Creative Department for their Latin American office in Miami. Lisa later moved to Ogilvy & Mather and spent the next 5 years traveling through Latin America shooting television commercials.

In 2004, Lisa started Vertigo Media Group, a full-service Marketing Communications firm with a strong focus on brand advertising. Vertigo specializes in branding young companies, along with reinvigorating existing brands. In 2014, Lisa acquired another Long Island agency and merged the two operations nearly tripling VMG’s gross sales. In 2017, Vertigo launched Spanglish, a cross-cultural marketing program to help brands enhance their reach with the growing Hispanic community.

Recognized as an industry expert, Lisa has given many seminars on marketing and delivered addresses to young graduates looking to start their careers in marketing. Dedicated to her community, she has helped raise funds and donated graphic services to foundations such as the LI2-Day Breast Cancer Foundation, The Sepe Foundation, and The Port Washington Library Foundation.

As a mother of two children, Leo 18 and Gianna 16 she spends her spare time cooking, watching baseball and traveling.

Fred Pesce

Vice President & Creative Director

After serving in the US NAVY as a Veteran of Desert Storm, Fred Pesce received his Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts in NYC, graduating in the top ten of his class. Following graduation, his graphic design skills were seasoned during a twelve-year tenure working alongside his father, founder of one of Long Island’s largest ad agencies. In 2004, he joined Lisa Mirabile to establish Vertigo Media Group. Fred developed campaigns and marketing material for diverse industries spanning major banks and catering establishments to spas and hi-tech companies.

As Creative Director for Vertigo, he provides clients with a full range of advertising and marketing services, developing multimedia campaigns, customer loyalty and direct marketing programs. Fred takes pride in nurturing a design concept to fruition via a wide variety of cutting-edge media traversing print advertisements, television commercials, website design & development and more.

His work has appeared in prestigious design publications such as Graphis and American Corporate Identity, a “Best of the Best” design publication. Fred has received numerous awards throughout the years for corporate identity, ad campaigns, print collateral, websites and package designs. Fred currently spends his spare time volunteering alongside a New York based men’s leadership group, lending a hand to those in need in the community. His latest mission entails organizing a March 2018 excursion to Haiti to support a school and medical center, a follow-up to his 2011 undertaking to assist those afflicted by a massive earthquake.

Fred brings discipline, motivation, teamwork, playfulness, a high standard of creative vision and a positive belief that there are no problems; there are only solutions to problems. His greatest joy is spending time with his 17-year old son, John, and wife, Nicole.

Terri Happe

Digital Marketing Director

Her Bio

Since long before digital marketing had a name, Terri was involved in website management and SEO. She brings extensive experience developing and managing single-channel and cross-channel digital marketing campaigns, with a focus on increasing ROI and growing the client’s online authority. Her skills span search engine optimization, conversion optimization, all forms of PPC advertising, email campaigns and automation, and social media marketing. She’s a Binghamton University graduate with a BA in Literature and Rhetoric now spending most of her time studying the latest Google algorithm update — when she’s not decorating a cake.

Lori Massaro

Book Keeper

Her Bio

Lori has been a part of the Vertigo Team since 2014.  She is responsible for all office procedures, and uses her organizational skills to ensure smooth operations in a busy work environment. She directly handles all financial matters such as client billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and banking as well as human resources.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, decorating, gardening and working on DIY projects.

Rose Guarino


Her Bio

With a diverse career in communications, Rose brings extensive experience in traditional and digital marketing, public relations, internal communications and content creation to Vertigo Media Group.  Rose’s career includes working for leading companies including IBM, Nikon and CA technologies, which have provided her with comprehensive knowledge of marketing communications programs across a variety of industries.

A St. John’s University graduate where she gained a BS in Communications and a love of basketball, Rose continues to enjoy watching basketball, when she’s not keeping up with her teenage sons and her mini husky, Luna.

Meredith Lessing

Account Manager

Her Bio

Brings to our team twenty years of marketing experience. Meredith owned a creative services agency focused on small business marketing and hospitality. She is committed to building relationships, developing growth strategies and productivity for our clients. She and her family reside in Blue Point where they enjoy boating and volunteering in their community.

Julia Christ

Senior Graphic Designer

Her Bio

Living and working in New England for a few years, Julia returned to her native roots, Long Island, to join the Vertigo team. Skillful in all things graphic, Julia specializes with the digital platform. On a daily basis, you can find her designing or building websites and landing pages, coding and testing emails, and exploring the latest in UI/UX design. In her spare time, Julia enjoys decorating her new home in East Islip and spending quality time with her husband, Chris, and their big puppy, Easton.

Jillian Juhas

Junior Graphic Designer

Her Bio

Jillian Juhas is a junior graphic designer at Vertigo Media Group, where she provides graphic design support for client projects, including layout alterations, resizing existing projects and designing new projects based on existing creative or established guidelines.

A recent graduate from the University of Connecticut (UConn), Jillian holds a degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. While attending UConn, Jillian was a graphic designer for the Undergraduate Student Government at the university, which contributed to developing her design skills as well as providing solid work experience in the industry. When she’s not working, you’ll find Jillian scouting estate sales and trendy coffee shops on the North Shore seeking that perfect Cup of Joe.

Kenny Najarro

Account Executive/Social Media Coordinator

His Bio

Kenny, our social media guru and Spanglish media extraordinaire, has spearheaded campaigns on all the popular platforms and promoted events across the web. He received a bachelor’s degree in Creative Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Tampa. Kenny enjoys disc golf, baseball, sushi and an occasional whiskey.
